Create a Connect Profile
The following section describes how to create a new connect profile.
In the ribbon's Connect Profile group click New Profile.
The New Connect Profile form is displayed.
Fill out the form fields as described below:
Key in or paste the URL of the top-level site being analysed. This will typically be the URL of a site collection but doesn't have to be, it can be the address of any site. However, when a snapshot is created to perform a data capture, this URL will be topmost site in the snapshot.
The description is shown whenever you choose a connect profile so it's important to use a name that is clear, meaningful and unambiguous. A good example would be <name> Site Collection such as Global Finance Site Collection.
Select a value that represents how you wish Duke to authenticate when connecting to thie URL.
If you are using Windows authentication then this value is not required because you are authenticated by your Windows username and password. If you are connecting to Office 365 then enter the username you use when connecting manually via a browser.
If you are using Windows authentication then this value is not required because you are authenticated by your Windows username and password. When using Office 365, enter the password used to when connecting manually using a browser.
This is an optional value which can be used to provide more detailed information about this connect profile.
